Day Ten

This was a little late. The challenge was to draw your favorite candy. I really love fererro rocher chocolates. I love the chocolate and hazelnut in them, it just tastes soo good. So the reason I was late was because I was working on the painting in the first picture. I was painting and taking off the stencil on it. I think it came out well, even though there are some places where I will have to some touch up work.

Day Nine

Day nine was to draw your favorite tv show. I'm seriously slacking off now. I just got another job and i've had even less time to work on drawing than usual. Anyway, one of my favorite tv shows is Face Off on syfy. I love costumes and disguises, so I love all the creative outfits made on this show.

Day Eight

Day eight's challenge was to draw your favorite animated character. I don't have a favorite character so I decided to draw a character that I really like.  I drew Celty from Durarara!!!. She is kinda like an Irish headless horseman/grim reaper/fairy. She also rides around on a black motorcycle. I just think she is soo cool. I definitely want to cosplay her one day, I just need to find a helmet that fits and everything else should be easy.

Day Seven

It's been a week since I've started the 30-day drawing challenge. Today's challenge was to draw your favorite word. I don't have a favorite word so I picked the word cute, cause I figure you can't be angry or sad when you think something is cute.

Day Six

Today is Day six of the 30 day drawing challenge, and I had to draw a picture of my favorite book character. I don't read books all that often. I read a lot of graphic novels and news articles. So I decided to draw a character I really like from one of my favorite graphic novels. He is No-ah from One Fine Day by Sirial. He is a wizard who isn't very good at making magic, and he lives and takes care of a dog, a cat, and a mouse. The animals are usually drawn as children, and they have all have fun and get into mischief. No-ah is my favorite character because he is very kind and is always gentle with everyone's feelings. He can be a pushover tho. There's also something I really like about his crazy hair. :3

Day Five

Day Five's challenge was to draw my best friends. So I drew them all in cosplay. They are cosplaying Lady Gaga, Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts 2 and Youroichi from Bleach. This challenge was extremely difficult, I couldn't figure out a style to draw them in and I kept on erasing and starting over so many times. I finally stood with this after deciding not to fully erase anything.

Day Four

Today's challenge was to draw your favorite place, so I decided to draw New York. There really is no place like it for me. I made this illustration using colored pencil and ink pen. It's very simple because I was lacking time to work on it, but I think it turned out very well for the time that I had.

Day three

Today's drawing challenge was pretty hard. The challenge was to draw your favorite food. I have so many foods that I like. So I just drew a few little things that I've been eating alot of lately. I think it would have been easier to draw something i don't like to eat.
I decided to draw in colored pencils for this challenge cause I felt that graphite just doesn't convey food the way that color can. I'm very happy with how my mango turned out.

Day two

I was excited to work on the Day two challenge, so I started it right at midnight today. The challenge was to draw your favorite animal, but I couldn't decide. I love giraffes and rabbits, so I drew both. This drawing came out alot better than I thought it would, I'm really pleased with it. Even if I did finish it around 4am.
Now tomorrow's challenge is to draw my favorite food. I can't pick just one.

Hello, welcome to my first post.
I decided to do the 30 Day Drawing Challenge. The Noir Guy showed me the challenge on another blog. I thought it would be fun to do, not to mention good practice. Today is Day one of the challenge : to draw yourself. I barely had time to draw since I was sewing all day, but I was able to get the drawing done and finish the major parts of the costumes I was making.
Not bad for the first day.
